Bengaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating the multi-crore IMA scam, has revealed that main accused Mansoor Khan cheated thousands of his customers by giving them fake gold.

According to sources in the SIT, till now, Khan gave 5,808 gold biscuits to his customers, all of which were made of copper. “We have seized 303 kgs of fake gold biscuits from his apartment,” informed the sources.

If the sources are to be believed, Khan adopted fraudulent tricks to become ultra-rich, and this was known to the politicians. “Once the investigation continues we may get more such shocking details,” informed SIT sources.

Meanwhile, the state government seized properties worth over Rs 350 crores belonging to Khan, his family members and friends. This includes properties in several cities in Karnataka including Bengaluru.
