IMD Predicts heavy rainfall in Karnataka until Nov 22

Bengaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in several Karnataka districts, continuing from today until November 22. Coastal and north interior Karnataka are forecasted to witness rainfall for three consecutive days starting November 19. The districts expected to receive rainfall include Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Bagalkot, Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapura, and Yadgir.

Commencing today, Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapura, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysuru, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Tumakuru, and Vijayanagar are also anticipated to experience rainfall. Thunderstorms may occur in certain locations in south interior Karnataka, while coastal and north interior Karnataka are expected to have prevailing dry weather.
