Bengaluru: For the first time in the history of prestigious Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), a professional CA has become its president.
According to the FKCCI, K. Ravi, is the first practicing Chartered Accountant to become the President of FKCCI in the 100 years history of the chamber which was founded by Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya in the year 1916. New office bearers of the chamber were selected on Friday.
K Ravi was also the president of the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association (KSCAA) in the year 1999-2000. Apart from being a Chartered Accountant, he is a qualified lawyer and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts. He has been the past President of the Rotary Bangalore Orchards – Rotary International District 3190, Past Governor of Institute of Internal Auditors, Florida, USA – Bangalore Chapter. Currently, he is the senior partner of K. Ravi & Associates, Bengaluru.
