Bengaluru: Independent MLA H Nagesh, on Monday, July 8, submitted his resignation to Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala. In his resignation, he expressed that he is withdrawing his support for the coalition government and his that he is willing to support the BJP in case they want to form the new government.
His letter to the Governor read: “I have already withdrawn my support to the government headed by Shri H D Kumaraswamy. I would further by this letter unequivocally state that I would extend my support to the government of Bharatiya Janata Party if called for by your good self.”
After resigning, the MLA flew to Mumbai to join the other rebel MLAs camping there.
