Bengaluru: The aviation regulator DGCA has stated on Wednesday January 19 that the suspension of international passenger flights has been extended till February 28. However, Air Bubble flights, and cargo operations & flights approved by DGCA do not come under this restriction.

Kempegowda airport authorities on Twitter stated, “As per @DGCAIndia circular, all scheduled international passenger flight services to and from India will remain suspended till Feb 28, 2022. This restriction is not applicable to Air Bubble flights, cargo operations & flights approved by DGCA.”

There is no clarity as to when regular internatioanl flights will resume.
