Bengaluru: In a horrific incident, a 17- year-old student committed suicide in Nelamangala after losing a huge sum to the Indian Premier League (IPL) betting.
The incident has come as a shocker as many instances wherein youth in the rural areas have also lost a huge money in the IPL betting come to light.
According to the police, the student was addicted to IPL. He informed about the loss in his death note. He committed suicide by hanging from the roof of the house.
The police has registered a case and launched an investigation.
