Bengaluru: Jatti Dwarakamayi Villa on Whitefield road of the city is one of the important landmarks of the area. All these days locals, especially techies believed that it belonged to some rich IT industrialist, but shockingly, it doesn’t belong to any industrialist.

It was recently found that the villa is owned by a local auto driver who was often found in the area picking up the passengers.

This is the story of Subramani, an auto driver from the Whitefield of the city. According to the IT officers, he bought this villa by paying the full amount in cash recently. This made the IT officials suspect his source of income. The officials suspect that Subramani must be used as a shield by many politicians to divert and hide their unaccounted money.

Rs. 7.9 crores cash seized?

According to the sources, in the third week of April, the IT officers seized Rs.7.9 crores from the same villa. “Wednesday’s raid was part of this cash seizure,” explained sources in the IT department. But no official statement has been issued.

According to the sources, a real estate builder has been issued a notice in connection with the IT raids.

Meanwhile, local MLA Aravind Limbavali informed that he has nothing to do with the cash sized from the auto driver’s house. “I don’t know him. My name is unnecessarily dragged in this case,” he clarified.
