Bengaluru: Soon after the vice-presidential election, cine star Jaggesh posted a tweet in support of Vice-President designate Venkaiah Naidu. The tweet did not go well with a section of people who resorted to trolling the actor, following which the actor deleted the tweet.
Jaggesh, in his tweet had recalled the stern stand taken by the Kannadigas of opposing Naidu’s candidature to the Rajya Sabha from Karnataka on the grounds that he is not a Kannadiga. Due to stiff resistance Naidu was dropped by the BJP for the RS from the state.
On this backdrop, Jaggesh, in a subtle way mocked the stand of the Kannadigas as the same non-Kannadiga has now become the Vice-President of India.
Several individuals and organisations refused to agree with the actor and soon Jaggesh deleted the post.
