Bengaluru: Janata Dal (Secular) workers under the leadership of JD(S) Yuva Morcha general secretary Rakesh M Desarla began padayatra from Bengaluru to Chamundeswari Temple in Mysuru to seek the Goddess blessings for H D Kumaraswamy to become the Chief Minister once again.

“Our objective is to see Kumaraswamy to become the Chief Minister once again. A number of developmental works were taken up during the tenure of Kumaraswamy. We pray the Goddess Chamundeswari to ensure the success of JD(S) candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections,’’ says Rakesh.

The JD(S) workers began padayatra by walking barefoot from Kammanahalli Circle in east Bengaluru on Wednesday April 4.
