“Join the Commute” Campaign Launched to Tackle Bengaluru’s Traffic Woes
Bengaluru: In a bid to understand and address the city’s traffic congestion, the Prathama South Traffic Division has launched a unique campaign called “Join the Commute” under the leadership of DCP Shivprakash Devaraju.
The campaign invites citizens to register their daily travel routes and modes of transport, with selected individuals getting the opportunity to travel with DCP Devaraju. This hands-on approach aims to identify and solve traffic-related issues, including congestion, parking encroachments, and safety concerns.
By involving citizens directly, the campaign seeks to find solutions to the city’s traffic problems through collaborative efforts. DCP Devaraju emphasised that traffic issues require a joint effort from citizens and the police to resolve.
To participate, citizens can register their daily travel details online at (link unavailable). Selected participants will then get to travel with the officer and report traffic issues directly, helping to create a more efficient and safe transportation system across the city.
