Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Somappa Bommai on Sunday August 1 called on Former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda.
Bommai paid a courtesy visit to Devegowda for the first time after becoming the Karnataka CM. Bommai said that his association with Deve Gowda goes back to his father late Bommai senior, who was once the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Speaking to media persons CM Bommai said that the veteran politician discussed about State affairs and extended his cooperation to the government functioning. He added that Deve Gowda assured his support to all the future development works that would be taken by the State Government in Karnataka.
