Bengaluru: Congress MLA from Kampli constituency, J N Ganesh, who is absconding after having physically assaulted Hospet constituency Congress MLA Anand Singh at the Eagleton Resort, has still not come under the radar of the coalition leaders of the state.

Home Minister M B Patil has said that Ganesh was out of reach, but the fact is that he had accepted his misdeeds.

He said that the police department had attempted to nab Ganesh in Mumbai but the efforts did not pay off.

According to the recent information given to the state home ministry, Kampli Ganesh is suspected to be in Goa.

Earlier, on Saturday, February 2, the Bharatiya Janata Party took a potshot at CM Kumaraswamy saying that he should first man Kampli Ganesh and then claim credit for arresting notorious don Ravi Poojary.

Since the BJP addressed the CM as ‘Anna’, which means brother, in the tweet, as a counter-tweet Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy thanked the BJP leaders for calling him and respecting him with the word “Anna”, and that he would definitely find Kampli Ganesh at the earliest.

Meanwhile, he also said that the rules applicable to ‘wrongdoers’ across the political fraternity will be the same and that the coalition government would not spare anyone.
