Kannada organisations withdraw Dec 31 Karnataka bandh

Bengaluru: Kannada organisations have withdrawn the state bandh called on Friday.

After a meeting with Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, former MLA Kannada leader Vatal Nagaraj made this announcement.

Earlier, the Kannada organisations had called for Statewide bandh demanding ban on MES which is involved in anti-Kannada activities in Belagavi.

A majority of the Kannada organisations, and film actors declined to support the bandh call citing it will cause inconvenience for the public.
