Bengaluru: In a big relief to the state, the Center continued liquid oxygen supply to the state from various parts of the country.
On Saturday May 15 around 9 am, the second Oxygen Express arrived to the Bengaluru city railway station from Kalinganagar. A total of 120 MT liquid oxygen was supplied through this express.
According to the authorities, the third Oxygen Express to Karnataka with 120MT LMO from Tatanagar will reach Bengaluru on the evening of May 15. The oxygen supplied from other states are distributed among the districts where demand is increasing.
According to the sources, for the past few days, the oxygen and remdesivir supply to the state is stabilised ensuring enough supply.
Earlier over 24 deaths in Chamarajanagar Covid 19 hospital and several deaths in various hospitals in the north Karnataka region attributed for the oxygen shortage.
