Karnataka: KEA entrusted with responsibility of conducting KSET

Hyderabad: 86.6% students pass class 10 exams in Telangana

Bengaluru: The State Higher Education Department clipped the powers of the University of Mysore (UoM) to hold Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET). Henceforth the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will hold this examination annually.

According to the authorities, Mysuru MP Pratap Simha had approached the State Higher Education Department with the complaint of rampant irregularities in KSET conducted by UoM in July 2021. He alleged that corruption in KSET is affecting the higher education sector of the State.

Now, the State Government ordered an investigation into KSET 2021 July examination malpractices also.
