Bengaluru: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by United Way Bengaluru (UWBe) and the Women and Child Development (WCD) Department of the Government of Karnataka on Thursday August 4. This is a step toward ensuring quality early childhood care and development for children up to 6 years old and improving quality services across Anganwadi centres in Karnataka.
According to sources, UWBe will collaborate with each of the 66361 Anganwadi facilities that are operational in the State.
Around 40 lakh children enrolled in these 66361 Anganwadi centres will benefit from the partnership.
