Bengaluru: As many as 40 leaders of the Popular Front of India (PFI) were detained across the State by the state police after state-wide early-morning raids on Tuesday September 27.
Houses of PFI leaders in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Vijayapura, Chamarajanagara, Bidar, Chitradurga, Ballari, Kolar, Ramanagara, etc. were raided.
The raids are also in progress in Dakshina Kannada District.
The police are investigating the finance and other activities of the PFI which is under the scanner of the State police for the last few days. They are also tight-lipped over the raids.
