Bengaluru: Karnataka on Sunday August 29 recorded 1,262 fresh coronavirus cases.
As per the health bulletin, the active cases in the state stand at 18,758. Among the districts, Bengaluru Urban registered the highest number of single-day cases with 361 new infections, while Dakshina Kannada reported 202 new cases.
As many as 17 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Sunday.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.70%.
