Bengaluru: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain across the State till October 11.
According to predictions, districts in the North and South interior as well as Coastal Karnataka will receive heavy rains. Heavy and thunderous rainfall is expected in all areas.
A yellow alert has been issued for the North Karnataka districts of Bagalakote, Belagavi, Dharawad, Gadag, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Koppal, Yadgir and Vijayapura districts on October 11.
On Sunday, heavy rain is expected in the districts of Chikkamagaluru, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Hassan, Kodagu, Shivamogga, Davanagere, and Chitradurga.
The people have been advised to take all necessary precautions.
