Bengaluru: The social media clash between the fans of Sandalwood actors “Challenging Star” Darshan and Kiccha Sudeep continues to fester.

Now, it seems that Sudeep has lost his cool after a Darshan fan was allegedly arrested in connection with the “Pailwaan” piracy row.

Lashing out at Darshan’s fans on Twiiter, Sudeep wrote, “My friends and I have not worn bangles on our hands, but a kada (stainless steel bracelet). I know nothing except my cinema. You all have tested both my silence and my patience. You all have put in maximum efforts to demolish the efforts put in by the Pailwaan movie team. The countdown for the troublesome people involved in the row has begun.”

In another tweet Sudeep wrote, “#pailwaan piracy, Should say… Things r jus getting interesting , N I shall not rest till I get to th root of it … Those .. from here .. who played with our hard work… shall pay. I’m more interested in th pirates than the piracy.”

The ‘bangle’ tweet has drawn a lot of flak on social media, with the Twitterati and Facebook users calling it a ‘sexist’ comment.

Some have even advised Sudeep to mind his language and said that such a statement is unbecoming of him, as he is a popular social figure.

It can be recalled that, the “Twitter war” between the actors and their fans began after Sudeep’s fans accused Darshan’s fan of pirating the former’s latest film, “Pailwaan”.

Yesterday, after their investigation, the police arrested one of Darshan’s fans in connection with the piracy case.
