Kodagu resident tested postive for COVID-19 visited many places

Bengaluru: A 36-year-old Kodagu resident, who was tested positive for COVID-19 had visited many places Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Kodagu on March 15 and 16. The district administration has prepared a detailed travel path, which shows he had visited even a food joint in Malleshwaram.

According to the travel path of the person, who is now notified as P15 (patient 15), he arrived in Indigo flight no 6E96 (Dubai to Bengaluru) on March 15, which reached KIAL, Bengaluru at 4.30 pm. Later, he caught a bus to the KSRTC satellite bus terminus on Mysore road from the airport and reaches there at 6.30 pm.

From satellite bus terminus, he visits Malleshwaram and had dinner at Albek, Malleshwaram and returned to the satellite bus terminus in an auto. Later at 11.33 pm, he caught a Rajahamsa bus (KA 19, F 3170) and travelled towards Murnad in Kodagu district.

On March 16th morning, the bus stopped at Mysuru KSRTC bus stand at 2.30 am. Alighting the bus, he had a cup of tea. By 5.30 am, The bus reached Murnad, his destination. From here he took an auto home.

Even though he was asked to stay back at home, on March 16, at 11.30 am, he visited his sister’s house in his own car with his family members. Later, he visited a Dargah at Kunjila.
He was rushed to hospital on March 17.

Those who met him or travelled along with him on the train, bus, and autos are requested to report to the nearest hospital immediately.
