Kolar: “Kolar is the second Lok Sabha Constituency with the highest number of Dalits in the whole of India and the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has given a clear assurance to the request to set up an IAS and KAS Coaching Centre for the District at a meeting of scheduled castes held in the presence of the Chief Minister on Monday February 20,” said MP S. Muniswamy.
He was speaking after participating in the District Convention of Dalit industrialists (Dakshi) held at a private hotel in the City on Tuesday February 21. “Lakhs of people have already been provided loans under the Mudra Scheme of the Central Government. The MPs promised to help the people of the District if they come forward to become entrepreneurs,” he said.
‘Dalit businessmen have come together and formed an association. There are 10,000 members in the country, 1,000 in the State and 40 in Kolar District. It has been four years since I was elected as an MP. Have you come to me so far and told me about any problems?,” he asked.
