Bengaluru: After several Congress leaders who are his primary contacts, KPCC president DK Shivakumar decided to go on two weeks home quarantine.

A senior Congress leader informed Newskarnataka that DKShi has met several leaders in the last few days and among them many are now tested positive.

“He will manage the party affairs from his home office,” he explained.

“All the Congress leaders are getting tested frequently to ensure that they will not develop any complications,” he said.

Meanwhile, more and more legislators are now testing positive. Yalaburga MLA Halappa Achar tested positive. He was the primary contact of agriculture minister BC Patil.

Former MLC Ivan D’Souza too has been tested positive merely a day after attending a press meet with DKShi in Mangaluru.
