Bengaluru: KPCC inquiry panel led by DCM Dr G Parameshwar met the Vijayanagar (Hospet) MLA Anand Singh and collected details of resort brawl incident in which he was allegedly attacked by his fellow MLA from Kampli JN Ganesh.
The team led by Parameshwar visited the private hospital where Singh is undergoing treatment. Rural Development and Panchayat Raj minister Krishna Byregowda accompanied the DCM.
According to the sources, both Parameshwar and Krishna Byregowda spoke to Singh for over 30 minutes and collected chronology of events. They also collected details of their rivalry in Ballari district, which allegedly resulted in the brawl. Both the leaders declined to talk to the media stating that they will submit a report to KPCC president Dinesh Gundurao soon.
It can be recalled that on January 19 late night, JN Ganesh allegedly attacked Anand Singh inside the Eagleton Resort after a war of words. Immediately, Singh was rushed to a private hospital in Sheshadripuram of the city, where he is undergoing treatment for multiple problems.
