Bengaluru: In a first of its kind exercise by any political party in the state, KPCC president (designate) DK Shivakumar held an online meeting with 12,800 party activists from across the state on the Zoom video conferencing platform.

According to the sources, he asked the party activists to live-stream his oath-taking ceremony as the KPCC president. “He went one step ahead and asked all the booth level leaders to send a three minutes clipping on this live streaming and the number of participants,” said a Congress leader who was part of this video conference.

“DKShi informed the party activists that he is planning to take charge on June 14 if the state government permits,” he explained.

“DKShi is planning to bring the party to power again in the 2023 election. He is using all his energy. His lifetime dream is becoming the CM of the state. So he is working day and night,” he said.
