Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has suspended party social media in-charge (Tumakuru district) H D Darshan, after his alleged conversation with a party activist went viral on social media. In this leaked conversation, Darshan was found telling the party activist that Congress leaders S P Muddahanumegowda, and K N Rajanna took money to support former prime minister H D Devegowda in the Tumakuru Lok Sabha constituency.
What has made this viral audio more interesting is that Darshan was found saying that, even after receiving money, both S P Muddahanumegowda and K N Rajanna didn’t support HDD.
“If HDD gets defeated in Tumakuru, K N Rajanna will get suspended,” Darshan is alleged to have stated.
He was also heard stating that if HDD wins, DCM Dr G Parameshwara may become the Chief Minister and H D Revanna may become the DCM as H D Kumaraswamy’s health is deteriorating.
Reacting to the audio clipping, DCM Dr G Parameshwara said that he is not aware of who Darshan is and has no idea about the audio clipping.
