KSET 2023 Exam Date Postponed, Tentatively Rescheduled for December 31

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the postponement of the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2023 Exam. The exam, initially scheduled for November 26, 2023, has been tentatively rescheduled to take place on December 31, 2023. The KEA conveyed this information through a notification on X (formerly Twitter).

“State Assistant Professor Eligibility Test (K-Set 23) scheduled to be held on November 26 has been postponed. Executive Director of KEA S. Ramya said that a provisional date has been fixed to be held on December 31,” the KEA stated in its post on X.

The KSET 2023 Exam aims to recruit professors at various levels in different colleges across Karnataka and will cover a total of 41 subjects. The exam will be conducted in two sessions: 10 am to 11 am and 12 noon to 2 pm, featuring multiple-choice questions.

While Paper-1 will consist of 50 questions with a maximum of 100 marks, Paper-2 will comprise 100 questions for a maximum of 200 marks. To pass the KSET 2023 Exam, candidates from unreserved categories need to score a minimum of 40%, while those from SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories require a minimum aggregate of 35% marks.

Successful candidates in the KSET 2023 Exam will be eligible for appointment as professors in relevant subjects in various colleges across Karnataka.
