The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched a new AC sleeper bus service between Bengaluru and Bagalkot, expanding long-distance connectivity for commuters in North Karnataka. The service will operate daily, providing an overnight travel option for passengers.
Daily service with convenient timings
The new bus will depart from Bengaluru at 9 pm each day and arrive in Bagalkot at 5.15 am the following morning. The return journey will follow the same schedule, ensuring consistent and reliable service for travellers.
Covering a distance of 498 km, the bus route will pass through Tumakuru, Chitradurga, Hosapete, Kushtagi, Ilkal, and Hungund, connecting major commercial towns along the corridor.
Fare details and ticket availability
KSRTC has announced the following fares for the new AC sleeper service:
- Bengaluru to Bagalkot: ₹1,246
- Bengaluru to Hosapete: ₹900
- Bengaluru to Kushtagi: ₹1,033
- Bengaluru to Hungund: ₹1,152
