KSRTC tyre burst leads to 3 motorists’ death

Hosapete: In a tragic accident, three motorists lost their lives and one more seriously injured after the two motorbikes they were travelling on were rammed into by a KSRTC bus which lost control following a sudden tyre burst. The accident took place near Tungabhadra bridge in Mylara village limits of Hoovina Hadagali Taluk on April 1.

Two-year-old girl run over by water tanker-1Honnappa (48), a resident of Holalu village, his daughter Nanda (20) and Mahanthesh (38) of Mylara village are the deceased.

A grievously injured Ninganagowda was shifted to Guttala government hospital. The tyre of KSRTC bus suddenly burst near Tungabhadra Bridge when it was on its way to Hoovina Hadagali from Haveri. The bus later crashed into the two bikes coming from the opposite direction resulting in deaths of the ill-fated motorists.

Hire Hadagali police arrived at the spot and are investigating.
