Bengaluru: From November 1, the Karnataka Government will adopt contactless transportation services, with around 30 services available online.
According to the sources, the services will be provided in accordance with the recommendations of the Karnataka Administrative Reforms Commission – 2 and Central Government Laws.
According to Rajender Kumar Kataria, Senior Secretary of the Transport Department, this will reduce crowding at RTO offices because people will be able to access these services from the convenience of their own homes and without having to make a single visit.
From November 1, services such as new vehicle registration certificates, temporary registration, vehicle transfer, RC copy, changes in the affidavit, learning licence issuance, change of name and address in the learning licence, conductor licence issuance and renewal, etc. will be made available online.
