K’taka crosses 100 mark after three more test positive for COVID-19, total now 101

Bengaluru: The state health department announced that the total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Karnataka has gone up to 101 after three more test positive for the infection.

According to the bulletin released by the department, 13 new cases were confirmed in the state from March 30 at 5 PM till March 31 at 2 PM.

Two of the new cases are from Bengaluru while the third is from Kalaburagi.

The details are as follows:

Patient 99 is the 60-year-old wife of Patient 9 from Kalaburagi.

Patient 100 is a 40-year-old resident of Bengaluru. He had a history of travel to Dubai. He returned to India on March 20.

Patient 101 is a 62-year-old resident of Bengaluru. She has been isolated at a hospital in the city and a detailed medical investigation is underway.
