Bengaluru: According to the Health Department, Karnataka reported 406 new Covid-19 cases and 10 deaths on Sunday October 10, bringing the total number of cases and deaths to 29,81,027 and 37,885, respectively.
637 patients were discharged on the same day, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 29,32,959. As per the Health Department bulletin, there were 10,154 active cases.
Bengaluru Urban had the most cases with 156 and five deaths.
With 56 new infections and one fatality, Mysuru was the second major Covid-19 hotspot.
Twenty-five districts reported no fatalities.
A total of 1,14,365 samples were tested in the State, bringing the total number of specimens tested to 4.88 crore.
According to the report, the total number of vaccinations given in the State has risen to 5.9 crore, with 1,57,197 people receiving vaccinations on Sunday.
