K’taka sees biggest spike with 127 new cases; Total tally hits 1373; three deaths

Bengaluru: The state witnessed the biggest spike in COVID-19 cases on Tuesday morning with 127 ne Corona positive cases. The totl tally has reached 1373.

Three persons died due to the infection taking the total fatalities to 40.

The deceased are a 61-year-old male from Ballari (P-1185), a 65-year-old make from Vijayapura (P-1295) and a 54-year-old male from Bengaluru (P-1364).

Mandya district reported 62 cases in the last 24 hours. All these cases had inter-state travel history to Mumbai. The district alone has 151 positive cases, out of which 130 are active cases.

Davangere has second highest cases in the state with 19 new cases in 24 hours.

Other districts are Shivamogga (12), Kalaburgi (11), Bengaluru Urban (6), Chikkamagaluru (2), Uttara Kannada (4), Udupi (4), Hasan (3), One each in Yadgir, Vijayapura, Gadag, Chitradurga.
