Bengaluru: Tension prevailed at cable-stayed bridge on Old Madras Road near Tin Factory when a home guard clashed with a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus conductor. The tiff between the home guard and the KSRTC bus conductor affected the movement of vehicular traffic for a while.According to the police, the KSRTC bus was proceeding towards Chintamani from Bengaluru. The bus conductor stopped the bus to pick up passengers, but home guard Ramya objected to it since the traffic police have banned the stopping of vehicles on the cable-stayed bridge. The home guard insisted the bus driver to drive the vehicle to KR Puram Traffic Police Station.
However, the traffic police allowed both to go after availing apology letters from them. “We did not register a case since both of them did not want to file a complaint,’’ said Dhrmaraj, assistant sub-inspector, K R Puram Traffic Police Station.
