Bengaluru: Anuradha, wife of former underworld don Muttappa Rai, who died recently has moved the court seeking share in his property.

She has challenged the authenticity of the Will, that bears the signature of Rai.

She filed a petition in city civil court and the Court has issued notices to 17 persons including Rai’s two sons and adjourned the matter to August 4.

After a year long battle with cancer, Rai passed away on May 15.

Nearly two months before his death he had announced his will in public and even then he had reportedly no spoken about the property he intends to give to his wife Anuradha.

Now, Anuradha moved court claiming she was not aware of any such will and sought share in the properties.

Rai married Anuradha, an acquaintance of his, after his first wife Rekha Rai had passed away.
