Bengaluru: The lockdown has been relaxed in many parts of the state to enable the farmers to resume the agricultural activities and reopening of the small scale industries.
According to the sources except super markets and commercial activities, all other essential services have been made available, but public transport and vehicle movement for non essential purposes continued to be blocked.
According to the authorities, all the government staff have been asked to attend duty from Monday. However, the biggest challenge is providing them transport facilities.
“The speed of Covid 19 spread continues to come down in the state. As a balancing act, the lockdown is now being relaxed in a phased manner,” said authorities.
The CMs of several states are holding an interaction with the PM with regard to lifting of the lockdown and way forward, on Monday morning over video conferencing.
