Bengaluru: Three persons have been arrested in connection to the case of forceful religious conversion attempts on a Kasargod girl.
The arrested are Wrishab, Ansar and Ansar’s wife, all residing in Bengaluru. It is said that Wrishab had befriended a lady from another religion ad brought her to Bengaluru to the residence of Ansar.
It is here that Wrishab established physical relationship with the girl, videographed their intimate moments and then kept forth the demand that she should accept his religion, failing which he would circulate the video.
The victim had met Udupi-Chikmagaluru MP Shobha Karandalaje and sought help and promptly, Karandalaje had taken up the issue. Karandalaje had accompanied the victim and met Commissioner of Police in Bengaluru as the perpetrators were living in Bengaluru.
