Bengaluru: Putting an end to the speculations that he might resign for the minister post following the allocation of nonsignificant tourism and Kannada and Culture departments, Chikkamagaluru MLA CT Ravi made it clear that he is not disgruntled and he will remain as a disciplined soldier of the party till last breath.

Ravi, a four-time MLA has said that his loyalty to his party is his biggest strength and weakness. In a series of tweets, he stated that he is not unhappy over the portfolios allocated to him. “Everyone is aware that loyalty to my Party is my biggest strength as well as my biggest weakness. To those who are suspecting me, I have never indulged in opportunistic politics nor have I ever warmed up to People in Power to indulge in gainful Politics. Neither have I ever prostrated before anyone for the sake of power nor do I believe that power is the only way to earn the respect of people,” he said.

His tweets come in response to the reports that he is planning too quit BSY cabinet. Meanwhile, in the Nalin Kumar Kateel swearing-in programme, he was asked to move to the second line indicating his demotion in the party organisation.
Meanwhile, he has also stated that he will make his stand public once the newly appointed BJP State Chief Nalin Kumar Kateel takes charge on Tuesday.
