Bangalore: Manjunath Bhandary has been appointed as the Vice-president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress as per the orders of Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
A visionary, entrepreneur and a educationist, Bhandary is the Founder Chairman of “Bhandary Foundation” which encompasses many educational institutions, under the name ‘Sahyadri’.
Bhandary, currently a member of the All India Congress Party, has remained loyal to the party for the last three and a half decades and his appointment has been supported by party leaders across the country.
His fans are hoping that the elevation will aid him play a prominent role in state level politics.
