Bengaluru: Hundreds of residents of Mantri apartment in Malleshwaram, next to Mantri mall, one of the major shopping destinations of the city are tense as allegations of enchroactment was proved in the BBMP survey.
BBMP carried out a survey on February 28 following the allegations that this apartment was built after encroaching government land.
BJP leader NR Ramesh had approached the court against this enchroachement.
According to the sources, Mantri Greens apartment was built in the enchroached land while, the Mantri mall has been built legally. The BBMP is likely to take a decision in this regard after a discussion with its legal team.
This news come as a shocker for the apartment dwellers as the BBMP is expected to pull down the apartment if it is found to be illegal.
There are 215 families residing in the flat. The Mantri builders are not available for immediate reaction.
