Bengaluru: More than 25 cars, including several high-end luxury vehicles, were gutted after a massive fire broke out at a car garage in Bengaluru’s Thanisandra during the early hours of Monday.
The blaze, which started at around 5.30 am, rapidly engulfed the garage, destroying vehicles parked inside. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.

According to officials, the fire spread quickly through the garage, reducing several premium cars to charred shells before firefighters could bring the situation under control.
The intensity of the blaze prompted an immediate response from the Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services Department.
Firefighters battle blaze for over two hours
A total of five fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Firefighters battled the flames for more than two hours, eventually bringing the fire under control.
Their timely intervention also prevented the blaze from spreading to nearby buildings, averting what could have been a much larger disaster.
Short circuit suspected
Preliminary investigations suggest that an electrical short circuit may have triggered the fire. However, officials said the exact cause will be confirmed only after a detailed investigation.
The Sampigehalli Police have registered a case and launched an inquiry into the incident.
Authorities are also expected to assess the extent of the property damage and determine whether safety protocols at the garage were adequate.
While the incident resulted in significant financial losses due to the destruction of multiple vehicles, the absence of casualties has come as a major relief.
