Mekedatu padayatra: Two Cong leaders test Covid positive

Bengaluru: Two Congress leaders who participated in the Congress padayatra has tested Covid positive.

They were the primary contacts of the former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) leader D. K. Shivakumar who are leading the padayatra.

According to the Congress party sources, party leaders, two former ministers, C. M. Ibrahim and H. M. Revanna, tested positive. Both of them have mild symptoms and are in isolation.

“H. M. Revanna admitted to a private hospital while Ibrahim in home isolation,” explained a Congress leader to NewsKarnataka.

Meanwhile, State Home Minister Araga Jnanendra who was the primary contact of CM Basavaraj Bommai tested negative. CM Bommai is in home isolation as he tested positive two days ago.
