Bengaluru: The Congress is likely to suspend former minister H Y Meti from the party following the sex video scandal and after sent report to the party high command on the entire episode, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President G Parameshwar is awaiting permission from the high command to initiate action against H Y Meti.
It may be recalled that Meti resigned as Minister on Wednesday after the sex video was released to the media. In the clipping, Meti is allegedly seen in a compromising position with a lady inside a government office.
It is alleged that the former minister sought sexual pleasure from the lady who came to him seeking job recommendation. Sources within the Congress circle say that the party is likely to suspend Meti before Rahul Gandhi’s rally scheduled in Belegavi on December 17.
