Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Tuesday, May 25 said the metro train services from Nayandahalli junction to Kengeri would open to the public from July.
“The Reach-2 Extension Line under Phase-2 of the project on Mysuru Road up to Kengeri is almost finished, and it will open for passengers in July,” Yediyurappa said after inspecting Metro Rail operations.
The Chief Minister stated that the railway network addition would help people connect and travel faster, adding that it is an extension to the Purple Line’s operational East-West Corridor, which is 18.1 kilometers long.
According to him, the extension will cost Rs 1,560 crore, with a land cost of Rs 360 crore.
