Bengaluru: On Wednesday December 8, the NSE Academy and the Karnataka Higher Education Council has announced that they had decided to enter into an MoU (memorandum of understanding) to promote financial awareness for college students’ holistic well-being.

According to C. N. Ashwath Narayan, the State’s Higher Education Minister, NSE Academy has already introduced this programme in seven states across the country, training over 70 lakh students.

“The State government is considering this programme with an open mind. This would allow us to provide students with financial awareness as well as scientific knowledge about entrepreneurship,” Narayan explained.

He further informed that students will learn about economic policies, fintech, capital markets, and central banks, among other subjects.  Further, this will include knowledge exchange between students and faculties of colleges across the State.
