Tumakuru: Close on the heels of Minister Tanveer Sait claiming to have received an extortion call from underworld element Ravi Poojary’s aides, Chikkanayakanahalli MLA Suresh Babu has now alleged that Poojary has made him his next target.
As per the MLA, Ravi Poojary has threatened him of dire consequences if he fails to pay him Rs 10 cr. The MLA has said that the caller had spoken to him in Hindi and had also sent a message with regard to the same.
It may be recalled that a man named Kishore Poojary had called Tanveer Sait recently and kept forth a demand of Rs 10 cr. The Minister had lodged a complaint with the Cyber Cell.
