Bengaluru: Senior Congress leader and Chamrajpet MLA BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan suffered a mild heart attack in the wee hours of Sunday, October 20. He has reportedly undergone an operation at a private hospital and two stents have been fitted in his heart.
According to sources close to him, Khan complained of severe chest pain and was immediately rushed to a private hospital where it was confirmed that he had suffered from a mild heart attack. As per the advice of doctors, he underwent a surgery immediately.
The hospital is yet to release a health bulletin on his recovery post-surgery. But sources said that he is expected to be discharged in a couple of days.
