Bengaluru: Even though MLC CM Ibrahim announced that he is quitting Congress after he was denied the Leader of Opposition post at the State Legislative Council, he is all likely to stay back in Congress only.
On the night of Friday February 11, Congress leaders announced that soon former CM Siddaramaiah who is also the Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly will hold a dinner meeting with Ibrahim to convince him to stay back in the party.
Earlier, Ibrahim had announced that he will tender resignation to Congress on February 14.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim also changed his tone.
Speaking to mediapersons in Mandya he stated that Congress leaders have invited him to New Delhi for discussion. “After Delhi visit, I will take a decision,” he added.
