Ramanagar: Janata Dal (Secular) MLC Puttanna has decided to quit the party and has hinted at more resignations soon.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, October 30, he said, “It is not only me, but other senior leaders like Basavaraj Horatti have also decided to quit the party. There are many MLCs from the party who are ready to quit. I will officially announce my decision to quit in the coming days.”

Criticizing the JD(S) high command, Puttanna said, “Some people don’t have emotions even if someone dies.”

It can be recalled that JD(S) leader Basavaraj Horatti had also hinted that he would decide whether or not to quit the party because of the way he was treated. At the same time, he had said that he had no hard feelings against JD(S) supremo and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda or former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.

He had stated that he would inform HDD and the media when he decides to quit.
