Bengaluru: Amid confusion surrounding the mental fitness of Mangaluru bomb-case accused Aditya Rao, who allegedly planted explosives at the Mangaluru Internationa Airport, a Kannada film producer has registered a title in Rao’s name.
Film producer Sampangiram registered the title “Ist rank terrorist Aditya” at the film chamber.
But there is no clarity on why he registered the name as Sampangiram hasn’t disclosed other details.
According to sources in the Sandalwood industry, after any major incident like the one that took place in Mangaluru, a few producers register titles regarding the said incident.
“This trend is not new. But it may be a publicity stunt as no one has come forward to play the role of Aditya Rao,” said a source.
